David R Lingler, CPA/ABV, CVA

After spending 5 plus years in an international “Big 5” accounting firm and several years as the controller of 2 local companies in the early 90′s, David came to Cassady Schiller in 1992. His focus on accounting and auditing, small business consultation and business valuation brought another dimension to the firm. In 1996, he became Accounting and Auditing Partner, leading that department through 2010 and growing that aspect of the firm’s resume.

David’s corporate business advisory experience includes comprehensive corporate services, internal control analysis, business valuations, litigation and arbitration support, and human resource planning.  David has worked with a variety of not-for-profit organizations and social service agencies throughout his career, providing accounting, auditing, internal control, and governance advice and counsel.

As a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV), David leads the Business Valuation and Mergers & Acquisitions Groups at Cassady Schiller. David’s litigation and arbitration experience includes expert witness testimony depositions, preparation of valuation exhibits and assistance in preparing for arbitration proceedings.
