
Brian Stautberg’s focus is tax. This includes compliance, planning, and research for businesses and individuals. He has extensive experience in the areas of Section 1031 exchanges, mergers and acquisitions, AMT minimization, investment real estate transactions and state and local taxation. In addition to his tax experience, Brian also has experience in accounting and auditing, enabling him to provide services beyond just tax compliance and consulting. Brian became a partner at Cassady Schiller in 2006, after joining the firm in 1992.
In his role as Director of Tax Services, Brian overseas and regulates all policies and procedures of the firm with respect to tax services. In addition to this role, Brian also serves as the Partner in Charge of IT Operations.
Brian graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati, which he attended on a full academic scholarship. He later returned to his Alma Mater and obtained his Masters of Science in Taxation. Upon receiving his undergraduate degree, Brian sat for the CPA exam and passed all sections in his first attempt.
